The staff at the hotel were fantastic and very friendly, making us feel welcome and at home. The hotel's larger than average rooms were perfect for our family, and we loved the beautiful saltwater pool. The simplicity of the hotel's decor added a sense of relaxation to our stay. Additionally, there were plenty of transport options available for exploring the surrounding area.

We felt right at home here and had no complaints.

Unlike other hotels on the outskirts, Avani was right in the heart of the city and had the perfect size - not too big, not too small. The driver who picked us up from the bus station was helpful and the breakfast area was pleasant with delicious food. We also appreciated the quiet atmosphere, ensuring a good night's sleep. I would highly recommend this hotel for its convenient location and excellent service.

There were a few drawbacks during our stay. the pool was quite deep, which made it a bit challenging for non-swimmers and children.

Nothing it is perfect.

The design of the hotel was outstanding, with a beautiful blend of colonial Cambodia and modern Asian design. the rooms were spacious and the bathroom facilities were up to date. the location of the hotel was perfect, being in central old town and within walking distance of popular attractions like Pub Street, the Royal residence, and the markets. It was also convenient to get around with a $2 Tuk Tuk ride. One of the best aspects of the hotel was the dining experience. the French chef provided contemporary interpretations of Cambodian classics, and the service was excellent.

The hotel could use some maintenance work, especially in the pool area which was a bit run down and the pool itself didn't seem to be clean enough. the communication with the hotel staff was not the best, as they took three days to reply to an email about guided tours.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The hotel had a great central location, close to Pub Street and the night markets, which made it easy to explore the city. the rooms were comfortable and had a modern yet colonial vibe. I really liked the old typewriter and telephone that added a unique touch to the room. Additionally, the staff were very courteous and went out of their way to assist us during our stay.

There were a few small issues that affected my experience. the lighting in my room had a short in the wiring, which made it difficult to turn off the lights at night or sometimes they would turn on unexpectedly.

Excellent room design, comfy beds + pillows, good breakfast, convenient hotel restaurant, efficient airport pick-up and friendly front desk staff, helpful tuk-tuk service.

The pool was also a great feature, perfect for a refreshing dip. The staff were excellent, always going above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant stay. The breakfasts were delicious, with freshly cooked options. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap.
