We had a fantastic stay on this secluded island. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff, most of whom were volunteers, were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The location on the west side of the island offered breathtaking views and a clean beach, perfect for relaxation. We also loved the fact that the hotel catered to European and vegetarian/vegan diets, providing delicious and diverse food options. With plenty of hammocks to relax in and the soothing sound of the waves, this place truly felt like a retreat out of time and space.

What a find! Stayed at Kactus Resort for a few nights and ended up extending our stay. Brilliant staff, delicious food, and a truly chilled out vibe. The beach is beautiful and secluded, surrounded by lush jungle. The open-air bungalows provide stunning ocean views and waking up to the sound of waves is pure bliss. The resort also organizes a daily beach clean-up, showing their commitment to keeping the island pristine. A paradise getaway, highly recommended!

Stay at this hotel if you want to get lost in the jungle and escape from the city noises. the huts are incomparable, nestled in the midst of trees, and the pan-fried fish is the perfect dish to make your taste buds dance. the beach is a very short walk away, with glowing plankton at night.

Although I had a good time, this hotel might not be suitable for solo travelers, as the social situation might not be what you seek. there isn't a choice for meals, and techno music may disrupt the peace you seek.

Being a solo traveler, I loved the communal feeling at Kactus. The limited electricity and network added to the charm. Swimming with plankton at the beach was unforgettable. The treehouse bar provided a great place to socialize and charge my phone.
