The rooms were on the smaller side and lacked some necessary amenities. There was only one power point available, making it inconvenient for charging multiple devices.

The room was clean, comfortable, and had a cozy feel to it. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the area and the host was incredibly knowledgeable about local attractions. I'm already planning my next stay!

We recently stayed at the Balmoral and had a fantastic experience. the hotel is old but very well maintained, making it extremely clean and comfortable. the rooms have tall ceilings and are airy, providing a pleasant atmosphere. the location was perfect for our visit to Barrys Bay and Algonquin Park, and it was great to come back to a quiet and cozy room after a long day of exploring. the staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, even preparing a delicious peach/apple crumble with vanilla bean whipped topping when we arrived late and couldn't find any open restaurants. We were truly impressed by their hospitality and would definitely stay here again.
