The hotel had a rustic and charming atmosphere that harkened back to the past. the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, providing me with helpful directions and information about the local area. the location of the hotel was ideal, with easy access to various eateries and stores.

The rooms were on the smaller side and lacked some necessary amenities. There was only one power point available, making it inconvenient for charging multiple devices.

We had a great stay at the hotel. the room was comfortable and the bed provided a restful night's sleep. the owner was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the attached pub was a highlight, serving delicious food that we wished we could have tried more of. the central location was convenient, allowing us to easily explore the nearby attractions. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall positive experience.

The owner was incredibly welcoming, and I felt right at home. The hotel facilities were great, and everything was clean and well-equipped. The location was perfect, just off the main street in this city, within minutes of all the shops. It was also a convenient base for exploring the nearby Algonquin Provincial Park.

The rooms are cozy, with comfortable beds and clean linens. Despite some outdated decor, the hotel has its own rustic charm. The friendly staff are accommodating and helpful. Plus, the free WiFi is a bonus for staying connected during your trip.

The windows need upgrading and don't fully close.

The hotel management was friendly and went out of their way to ensure a smooth check-in. We were greeted with warm hospitality after a long journey, which made us feel welcome. The location was perfect for us as party people, with easy access to local eateries and stores. The owner's knowledge of the area and waterways was invaluable for our kayaking adventure. The hotel's historic character added a unique touch, while still providing modern facilities. a wonderful experience that we would book again.
