The walls of the guest house are quite thin, and you may be disturbed by noise from neighboring rooms or cleaning staff in the morning.

On Saturday night, we experienced a lot of noise coming from the unit upstairs for about 4 or 5 hours. It was quite disruptive, and we had to leave the TV on to drown out the sound.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. the location was fantastic - so easy to get to everything in the area. Secondly, the attention to detail was impeccable - from the well-decorated and clean rooms to the basic amenities provided. Lastly, the staff were fantastic - friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect.

Access to the hotel was a bit challenging, especially for older guests, with a sloped entrance and narrow hallways.

Excellent location in historic downtown, spacious suite with direct access to a lovely porch, well-maintained with antique pieces, kitchen stocked with necessities, good quality towels and toiletries. As a light sleeper, I appreciated the peaceful surroundings and comfortable accommodations.

our recent stay at a lovely victorian period building in nelson was fantastic. the property had great character and was very well equipped. the beds were comfortable, and we were even welcomed with a thoughtful bottle of wine. close to main street and with a beautiful garden view, it was one of the nicer places we've stayed.

The property had great character and was close to Main Street. It was very well equipped, even providing pasta and sauce for the first night. The beds were very comfortable and the host was understanding and accommodating. The Victorian period building had a lovely veranda with comfortable furniture and the room was spacious and well-designed. The kitchen had a good range of equipment and there were nice toiletries in the bathroom. The property also provided kitchen basics like coffee, salt, pepper, olive oil, and vinegar. It was one of the nicer places we have stayed on our trip and was very close to Downtown Nelson.

We had a delightful and beautiful stay at this charming guesthouse. The suite was lovingly decorated and the location was perfect, just a short walk away from everything. The ease of our arrival and stay was exceptional. We felt incredibly comfortable throughout our time here. The owner even took the time to personally greet us on our last evening, which was a thoughtful touch. we loved everything about this place and we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

This hotel is conveniently located close to downtown and within walking distance to the main street. It is also near restaurants, making it easy to explore the local cuisine. The rooms are basic but well-equipped with a kitchen, providing us the flexibility to prepare our own meals. Additionally, the staff was attentive and provided a good breakfast each morning.

Perfect location close to coffee shops and bakeries, comfortable balcony, and separate entrance. The room was clean and cozy, with all the necessary kitchen facilities for a relaxed stay. the off-street parking was a great bonus, making it easy to get in and out.

The sound protection between the suites was a bit lacking and the body towels were scratchy and not very effective. In a few spots throughout the room, there were pointy or sharp objects that caught us off guard, which should be taken care of for future guests.
