The hotel's location cannot be beat; it's right in the heart of downtown Banff, in front of the bus stop, and just a short walk away from the center of town. The rooms on the second or third level facing south are fantastic, with air conditioning and an actual window to the outside. Breakfast is definitely a highlight with three cooks on the line and fresh omelettes made to order.

We stayed at the Ptarmigan Inn for a quick weekend getaway. The receptionist, hailing from Chile, provided exceptional customer service. The breakfast selection was great, offering warm foods, and the staff accommodated my gluten and dairy-free dietary needs. The hotel also had a restaurant next door with amazing Italian food. I was impressed by the high quality, non-toxic products provided in the room. I will definitely return and recommend it to friends.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

Our hotel location put us in the heart of the downtown area, making it a great place to base ourselves. We loved being so close to the main shopping area of Banff Ave and all the restaurants and activities. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, small bathroom but had plenty of hanging storage space for our clothes and equipment. The ski lockers were very secure, and the staff were so friendly and attentive.

The bar area could get quite noisy late at night, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.

As any tourist, I loved the location of this accommodation right on the main strip. The room size was huge for a 2 queen room, and the fact that it offered free parking was a big bonus. The ski resort bus stops right in front of the hotel, making it super convenient for skiing enthusiasts. Additionally, the hotel had great facilities including breakfast, a hot pool, ski lockers, and a cozy terrace/salon for relaxing and socializing. Another thoughtful touch was the provision of a bed, rope toy, and water bowl for our furry friends.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, right in the centre of Banff. It's conveniently situated near shops and restaurants, and the ski bus even stops right outside the door. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, with some offering a wonderful mountain view. I especially loved the internal facing balcony that let me enjoy the beautiful scenery. The breakfast included in the rate was a great bonus. The omelet made to order was delicious, and it was impressive to see three cooks working diligently to prepare hot items for the guests.

The breakfast selection was great, offering more than the usual continental options. heated underground parking was a savior in the wintry weather. the room was comfortable and equipped with a safe.

The balcony wasn't of much use either.

My room had a great view of the mountains and the bed was so comfortable. The staff quickly fixed the TV when it didn't work. The free breakfast was a great added extra. I had a pleasant stay at Ptarmigan Inn.
