We had a great experience during our city break at this hotel. the room was very clean and cozy, and there were plenty of towels provided. the air conditioner worked perfectly, which was a relief during the hot days. the location of the hotel was perfect, as it was centrally located and allowed us to easily explore the town on foot. We also loved the fact that there was a pool and hot tub available, although we didn't get a chance to use it.

The only downside was that our room was located next to the road, so we could hear the traffic at night. However, once we fell asleep, it didn't bother us much.

the gentleman who checked us in had a charming personality and even serenaded us because he sensed our happy marriage. the towels were fresh every day, and the staff took great pride in the establishment. the room was neat and tidy, and the vanity being separate from the bathroom made getting ready easier. the attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the owners, like placing a towel on our motorcycle to dry it off, made our stay even more enjoyable. We felt like we were staying in a cozy guest bedroom, reminiscent of our grandmother's place.

I stayed at the Chief Motel for a short trip to explore the Black Hills area. The location was perfect, close to attractions like Mt Rushmore and Jewel Cave. The property was well-maintained and the housekeeping team was amazing. They kept the room spotless, changing the sheets every two days and providing plenty of towels. The room had a fridge, microwave, and an HD TV with all my favorite channels. The WiFi was strong and the water pressure from the shower head was outstanding. a great stay with excellent amenities.

For the price we paid, the Chief Motel was an excellent value. The room was clean and had charming old-fashioned furniture and decor, just like staying in my grandma's guest bedroom. The location was perfect and we had easy access to all the attractions in the area. The staff treated us like family and went above and beyond to meet our needs, particularly as motorcycle riders. They even placed towels on our bikes each morning to dry them off. The pool house, with its indoor pool, hot tub, and social area, was a great place to relax in the evenings. We were truly impressed by the thoughtfulness and attention to detail of the owners.

The breakfast experience could have been improved with a better shower head and faster hot water. It would have been helpful to have some hooks in the room to hang coats since there was no closet.
