The value for the cost was excellent, and overall we had a pleasant experience. we highly recommend this motel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I had an amazing stay at this motel! The cleanliness was impeccable, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to find a well-equipped kitchenette with a microwave and fridge, even though I didn't pay extra for it. The motel was fully insulated, ensuring a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, even when it was fully booked. The location was fantastic, with a balcony view of cruise ships passing by and only a short drive or leisurely walk to downtown. I didn't experience any significant noise issues, especially at night. As an added bonus, the room had a standalone A/C unit for personalized temperature control. The staff were incredibly friendly, creating a laid-back atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

no kettle for making tea

Good value for the location. Fresh paint and laminate flooring, new closet doors and tub surround. Beds are firm and have a comfortable mattress topper. Some rooms have views of the parking space. Clean with a fridge, microwave, and plenty of towels. No air conditioner, but that was my mistake.

As a traveler, I absolutely loved my stay at the Big Rock Motel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with excellent housekeeping. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep. The room I booked was on the ground floor and had a view of where we parked our motorcycles. The hotel staff went above and beyond by placing a traffic cone in front of our room to reserve the parking space for us. This gesture was greatly appreciated, especially after riding through a rainstorm and arriving cold and soaked. The room itself was spacious, equipped with a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The lighting was excellent, and the bathroom had been recently updated with a new counter, tub surround, and flooring. The location of the motel was also fantastic, right across from the ocean and set back from the road, providing a peaceful setting. Additionally, there was a quirky little cafe down the road that served great tea and coffee. The staff at the motel were polite and accommodating, allowing us to park our motorcycles right outside our room throughout our stay. The price was excellent, and the motel was conveniently located for those interested in fishing or exploring the marina. it was a great experience with plenty of amenities and a central location.

We stayed at a motel conveniently located right across from the bay, making it easy for us to visit restaurants and enjoy the beautiful ocean view. We appreciated the decent speed of the wifi and the presence of a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room.
