I absolutely loved my stay at this charming older hotel in Banff! The room had a lovely view of the Bow River and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly, and the location was perfect for exploring the town on foot. Although parking was tight and some areas could use updating, the affordable price and convenient amenities made it a great choice for a budget-friendly stay.

Stayed here for a relaxing family vacation, and the location was superb! Easy walk to shops and restaurants, plus the room was spotless. Friendly staff, lovely river views, and proximity to the boardwalk made for a delightful morning walk. the pool at the sister property added to the experience.

Located only steps away from the lively downtown area, our room overlooks the tranquil river, offering a peaceful atmosphere. the plush robes provided were a luxurious touch, perfect for the short walk to the main lodge with its inviting pool and jacuzzi. Not to mention, we had easy access to all the incredible dining options we adore.

Unpleasant encounter at the front desk left us feeling unwelcome.

Johnson Lake is the ideal place to relax with the family and swim. the concert features performances in many provinces. the Ice Explorer tour was unforgettable. Paddling along Bow River was a refreshing experience.

No AC is such a great idea for a hotel.

Omg, the view from our room was breathtaking, could see the lake right from our balcony 🌅! rooms need a bit of love though. Staff were super friendly and helpful, but one lady looked exhausted. Would have loved a free brekky! 🍳

The location of the hotel next to the beautiful Bow River and close to all amenities in Banff was perfect for exploring the town. the staff, especially at the reception and maintenance, were exceptional in addressing any issues promptly and ensuring a comfortable stay. While the rooms were a bit dated and lacked air conditioning, the overall experience was great due to the prime location and attentive staff.

The database provided was easy to use and had a wide range of options available, making it convenient to find what I was looking for. the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for my group of three to relax and enjoy our stay. the little fan provided helped reduce the heat, making our experience even more pleasant.

One minor inconvenience was the occasional noise from other guests in the hallway late at night, which disturbed our rest.
