As friends who enjoy going out at nights, we absolutely loved the convenient location of Comfort Hotel Bayer's Lake. It provided us with the perfect opportunity to explore the Halifax area during the day and easily access the bustling city center at night. Plus, being close to highly rated restaurants like Fredies and having access to beautiful walking trails at Long Lake added to our overall experience.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were personable and eager to please, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The hotel was spotlessly clean, from the lobby to our unusually large room. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We also enjoyed the hotel facilities, including the pool and sauna, as well as the free DVD movies available. The breakfast buffet was substantial and kept very clean. The location of the hotel was great, with a highly rated fish restaurant close by and fabulous walking trails at Long Lake just a stone's throw away. It was also an easy trip to reach both the Halifax airport and everything we wanted to see as tourists.

During my stay at Comfort Hotel, I had a great experience with the owner. I was surprised to see a well-dressed and friendly woman cleaning tables and restocking the breakfast buffet. Later, I found out that she was the owner of the hotel. It was incredible to see her actively involved and taking care of the hotel. The staff was also exceptional, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options. it was a delightful experience, and I highly recommend this hotel.

There were some minor issues with the room. There was a strange vinegar-like smell for the first few minutes, and the room had not been properly cleaned as we found a bathing suit from a previous guest in the wardrobe.

my recent stay at the hotel in halifax was even better than my previous one. the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the addition of a pool and guest laundry was a bonus. the friendly staff made me feel welcome, and the homemade breakfast was the best i've ever had.

We had a wonderful stay at a hotel located in the Halifax metro area, close to the Halifax exhibition center where we enjoyed the Christmas glow lights show. The room was spacious and elegant, with tall ceilings and luxurious linens. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was impressive, with a wide variety of hot and cold options to choose from. We were also impressed by the attention to detail throughout the hotel, such as the stoneware dishes and stainless silverware in the dining room.

The parking situation was a bit problematic, as there were limited spaces available due to ongoing construction.
