Braw stay! Mirka's breakfast with fresh eggs was a pure delight and the warmth from the wood-burning furnace kept us cosy. The only wee drawback was the location, a bit isolated if ye need to head back to town. Still, don't let that put ye off!

Freshly made omelets that tasted like they were crafted in culinary heaven. The wrap-around deck was perfect for evening chats under the stars, and we loved the peaceful vibe of the woods, with deer casually roaming right outside.

Now, fair warning, the stairs can feel like a mini Everest adventure! And if you're not a fan of the hunting decor, there might be some awkward moments. But honestly, everything still sparkled here. Wouldn’t trade those cozy chats with Mirka and Dennis for anything!

The numerous stairs can be tiring!!! Make sure to note that if you’re in a basement room, your escape route during a fire is limited. Also, the decor might be unsettling with mounted dead creatures for some!!!

The stairs were exhausting, especially when hauling luggage, and the lack of a direct escape route from the basement room during an emergency was concerning. Additionally, while I appreciate the decor, the mounted animal trophies made me uncomfortable and detracted from the enjoyment of my stay.

The Queen Room with Garden View was super comfy and clean. Loved that I had my own bathroom. Plus, the atmosphere was so peaceful, with deer hanging out in the garden. Mirka's homemade breakfasts were a treat every morning! I felt like I was staying at a friend's place. Super cozy vibe and great conversation with the hosts. Would definitely recommend it!

The hosts went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, even stocking up on stevia after I asked for it during breakfast.
