We loved everything about our stay at this beautiful property. The hosts were welcoming and charming, and the accommodation was rustic yet luxuriously comfortable. The lake views were stunning, and the breakfasts were fantastic. we highly recommend this lovely B&B.

The top room is exceptional with helpful, cheerful, and interesting proprietors. Lovely grounds and a restful atmosphere. Wonderful English breakfast with nice bed linens. The Russian Room at this hotel is a standout.

I had an excellent stay here. The location is perfect - right next to a beautiful lake and close to the National Park. It's also very convenient to have places to eat nearby, especially the lovely cafe and bakery just a few minutes away. The room was great, with everything I needed, like tea and coffee facilities, a dining table, and even patio furniture. The staff was very friendly and made me feel right at home. Plus, the garden area was very relaxing to spend time in.

I highly recommend this place to family and friends.

Located near St Ann's in a very quiet area, the hotel is adjacent to a little lake, offering a peaceful atmosphere. Guests can easily find places to eat nearby, ensuring convenience. The rooms are elegant, comfortable, and super clean, with beautiful decor. The bathrooms include stand-alone baths, adding a touch of luxury. The hosts are kind and thoughtful, serving a delicious cooked breakfast to start the day. Some rooms also have patio areas for guests to relax.

One downside is the lack of comfortable seating in the suites, which may not be ideal for guests who want to relax in their room.

english country garden exceeded expectations during this city holiday. hosts heike and jalal went the extra mile, making us feel at home with their warm welcome and delicious breakfasts. the cozy room was beautifully decorated with a comfy bed, and the ensuite bathroom was clean and well-appointed. a perfect stay.

Being situated in the quiet area of St Ann's adds to the overall peaceful ambiance. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with large ensuite bathrooms. The service is top-notch and the breakfast is absolutely delicious, with homemade treats like blueberry cake and banana bread.

The mattress in some rooms may need to be replaced for a more comfortable sleep experience.

The complementary coffee and croissant in the morning were a nice wake-up call. the hotel is located near some great restaurants and bars, which made it easy to explore the city. I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi that was available throughout the hotel.

The room was not clean and had a weird smell that made it hard to sleep comfortably. the staff was unhelpful when I asked if they could do anything about the smell.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were excellent. There was ample parking available, and the location outside the bedrooms was peaceful and serene, with a large pond at the bottom of the garden. We also loved the tranquil setting by the lake, providing plenty of opportunity to explore Cape Breton Island. The breakfasts were delicious and varied, and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. this hotel provided a wonderful experience for us.
