Nothing everything was great

I had a fantastic stay at a motel with a beautiful lake view. The staff were friendly and gave helpful information about nearby places, such as a store down the road for delicious ice cream and a restaurant that offered a discount for motel guests. The motel itself was well-equipped, with vinyl plank floors that were easy to clean, a mini-fridge, coffeemaker, and microwave for convenience. The location was perfect for exploring the Cabot Trail, and I enjoyed a swim in the pool with a great view.

Convenient location near a fantastic chowder restaurant. Easy to find, with good amenities. Friendly staff and a gorgeous view of the water from upper rooms. Comfy and well-kept grounds. Dogs allowed. A thoughtful owner even offered to mail back a forgotten item.

The view of the lake from outside the room was absolutely stunning. The staff was attentive and even went out of their way to provide kitchen essentials when they noticed we brought our own dishes. The shower had amazing water pressure, making it feel like a spa experience. a great hotel for a memorable stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this motel with stunning views of the water from our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, providing us with information about nearby attractions and restaurants. The room was comfortable and spacious, perfect for our group of friends. We also enjoyed the convenience of the kitchenette and the separate bedroom that allowed for privacy. The well-kept grounds and swimming pool were added bonuses.

The WiFi signal was weak, making it difficult for some of us to connect to the internet.

I had a fantastic stay at Fair Isle Motel! The view of the lake from my room was absolutely breathtaking. I loved waking up and enjoying breakfast while taking in the serene surroundings. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, even providing me with kitchen towels and dish soap when they noticed I brought my own dishes. The pressure in the shower felt like a luxury spa experience. Plus, my daughter had a blast on the trampoline and play structure. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to explore Cape Breton and the Cabot Trail!

The floors in our room could have been cleaner, but thankfully a broom was provided. Additionally, our friends' room had a musty smell.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the spacious family suite with a separate bedroom, kitchen, and great lake views. The friendly manager, Christena, provided helpful information about the Cabot Trail. The motel's location near Tim Hortons and a gas station was perfect for our road trip. The room was clean and had excellent water pressure in the shower. The swimming pool was a nice addition, and we enjoyed our meals at Charlene's Diner nearby.

The furnishings and decor felt straight out of the 70's, giving off a feeling of being stuck in a time warp. the lack of hooks or shelves in the bathroom was inconvenient and made it difficult to keep our toiletries organized.
