Our stay at Golden Acres Mountain Lodge was nothing short of exceptional. The hosts, Kathy and Bruce, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The breakfast each morning was absolutely gourmet, with a wide variety of delicious options. The rooms were spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the hot tub, sauna, and relaxation areas, which provided the perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking in the beautiful surrounding area. The lodge also offered breathtaking mountain views, especially from the hot tub. We were impressed by the attention to detail, such as fresh flowers from Cathy's garden in our suite. The lodge also had fantastic amenities, such as a fully-equipped kitchen and a cozy bar. We appreciated the complimentary use of the sauna, hot tub, barbecue, and fire pit. our stay at Golden Acres Mountain Lodge was truly superb. We can't wait to return in the future.

The sound proofing in the walkout basement bedrooms could be improved, as we were able to hear everything happening in the owner's house above. It would also be nice to have a private TV in the bedroom.

I did find that some of the amenities were a bit outdated and could use some updating.

the lodge is nestled in the mountains, providing a secluded and beautiful atmosphere. the accommodations and facilities were excellent, with nothing forgotten. Everything was top notch and had a charming Canadiana vibe. Cathy and Bruce, our wonderful hosts, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. the breakfast they served was fabulous and unique, starting our day off in the best way possible.
