Our stay at Golden Acres Mountain Lodge was nothing short of exceptional. The hosts, Kathy and Bruce, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The breakfast each morning was absolutely gourmet, with a wide variety of delicious options. The rooms were spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the hot tub, sauna, and relaxation areas, which provided the perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking in the beautiful surrounding area. The lodge also offered breathtaking mountain views, especially from the hot tub. We were impressed by the attention to detail, such as fresh flowers from Cathy's garden in our suite. The lodge also had fantastic amenities, such as a fully-equipped kitchen and a cozy bar. We appreciated the complimentary use of the sauna, hot tub, barbecue, and fire pit. our stay at Golden Acres Mountain Lodge was truly superb. We can't wait to return in the future.

The sound proofing in the walkout basement bedrooms could be improved, as we were able to hear everything happening in the owner's house above. It would also be nice to have a private TV in the bedroom.

The hosts at Golden Acres Mountain Lodge were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room I stayed in was spacious, peaceful, and impeccably clean. The bathroom was also spotless and well-maintained. The breakfasts served were absolutely delicious and a great way to start the day. The location was convenient for exploring nearby hiking trails and the view of the mountains was breathtaking. The hot tub and sauna on-site were an added bonus for relaxation after a long day.

I did find that some of the amenities were a bit outdated and could use some updating.

My partner and I stayed at the Golden Acres Mountain Lodge for a week-long hiking and rafting trip. Bruce and Cathy were incredible hosts, welcoming us with open arms. The annexe was perfect for privacy, with a comfortable bed and beautiful decor. The hot tub and BBQ were great additions, and the location was ideal for outdoor activities. The breakfasts cooked by Chef Cathy were out of this world, and sitting by the firepit in the evenings was the perfect way to unwind. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay near Golden.
