I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The location was great and the room was one of the largest I've ever had in South America. The staff was nice and the breakfast was good with fresh fruit and eggs. The hostel was also very clean, which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend Boutique Merced 88 for your stay in Santiago.

The hostel was impacted by demonstrations and riots during my stay. the noise and tear gas outside made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience.

I had an incredible stay at Hostel Boutique Merced 88. The location couldn't have been better, with all the major tourist attractions and nightlife just a stone's throw away. The hostel was safe, even at night, and the staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were cleaned every day, making for a pleasant stay. The showers were fantastic, with great water pressure. The common areas, like the rooftop terrace, were perfect for socializing and relaxing. Plus, the breakfast included boiled eggs, which was a nice touch.

The rooms are comfortable with cozy beds and the bathrooms are clean. The staff is helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The breakfast spread is delicious and includes fresh jams and eggs for a hearty start to the day.

There seems to be one staff member who can come across as annoyed and rude, which is a bit off-putting.

We loved the cleanliness of the hotel, one of the best we've seen around the world. The facilities were great, especially the rooftop terrace where we enjoyed free sangria and good music. The location was perfect, right on the edge of Lastarria and Bella Vista, and just a few minutes' walk from Bequedano metro station. We also appreciated being opposite a central park and close to the vibrant nightlife in Bellavista.

For us, it was ideal.

The lack of air conditioning in the room, which made it quite hot at night. the room only had two small windows for ventilation, which wasn't sufficient.

The location was perfect, close to the metro and within walking distance of various attractions and restaurants. The staff was always helpful, offering transportation arrangements and tour recommendations. The complimentary Pisco sour on Friday nights was a delightful touch. a wonderful stay.

The location was fantastic, very close to the metro station and within walking distance of the vibrant Bellavista neighborhood and tourist attractions. I enjoyed the terrace with its bar, as it was a great place to socialize with other guests and volunteers. The location was convenient, with a subway station just a short walk away. The kitchen facilities were also excellent, making it easy to prepare meals.

I had a fantastic stay at Boutique Merced 88! the staff was very helpful and organised, making it easy for me to book a room and arrange my airport transfer. the single room I stayed in was huge and the bed was amazing. the shared bathrooms were very clean and had lots of hot water. the location was decent for that part of town, and I especially appreciated the spacious and comfortable room. If I'm back in town, I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Finding the hostel was a bit tricky , but once I located it, everything else was great.

The noise from the streets can be bothersome, especially at night when honking and yelling can be heard.
