During my stay, I really liked the convenient location of the property. This made exploring the nightlife in the area incredibly easy and enjoyable. Additionally, the property was well-connected to public transport, making it effortless to explore other parts of the city. Another advantage that I enjoyed was the presence of lockers in the rooms. It provided a sense of security and allowed me to store my personal belongings safely.

There were a couple of aspects that could be improved. the bathrooms were not up to my expectations.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in downtown. The staff were really helpful and welcoming, making us feel at home during our entire stay. The hotel is located just off Davie Street, which is full of shops and restaurants/pubs. The location is great, with easy access to public transportation and within walking distance of the beach in the West End. The breakfast provided was very good, with a self-serve kitchen offering a variety of options including bagels, muffins, fruit, cereal, and juices. Additionally, we enjoyed the proximity to the beaches and the convenience of having many eateries and shops nearby.

The location of this hotel is excellent, right next to Davie street which has a wide variety of eateries, cafes, and even a supermarket open until 2am. It is also conveniently located for accessing downtown Vancouver, with good transport options and a great choice of restaurants. Additionally, the hotel facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided is also a great bonus, with a good selection of options available.

Could not be improved in any way.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from English Bay and Davies village, which made it easy to explore downtown Vancouver. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, and I was impressed by the value for money that I received during my stay.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

“Pros”: The value for the money was great, especially considering the expensive city. The room was fine, nothing fancy but comfortable enough. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making my stay enjoyable.

Nothing could have been better.

Great location. Close to restaurants, shops, and attractions like Stanley Park. Good selection at breakfast. Sufficient toilets and showers. Staff is efficient and accommodating. a fantastic hostel experience. Well worth the money.

The value for money at this hotel was outstanding. Located just 20 minutes away from the airport by taxi, it offered convenience at an affordable price. The central bus station was also a mere 10 minutes away, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to downtown Vancouver meant that all the attractions were within walking distance, including the beautiful Stanley Park, which was just a 30-minute stroll away.

Though the hotel had a fan in the room, air conditioning would have been a welcome addition, especially during the hot days. The small plug-in fan provided for four beds did little to cool the room, despite the outside temperature never exceeding 20 degrees.

The location was awesome - close to Davie and downtown, but still on a quiet street. The 24-hour reception and free breakfast were a major plus. The rooms provided excellent ventilation and the basic amenities were all there.

Could use more variety in the breakfast options.

The hostel had a quiet location down a side street, with plenty of bars and cafes nearby. Sunset Beach was just a 5-minute walk away, offering beautiful sunsets and easy transportation options. The rooms had large lockers and the common areas were spacious. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and the room itself was spacious, clean, and had great amenities like a kitchen and entertainment rooms. a great stay!

Nothing to complain about at all.

The location of Hi Vancouver Downtown was perfect, allowing us easy access to explore the city. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating throughout our stay. We also appreciated the abundance of information and organized activities available. Despite a few minor drawbacks mentioned in the database reviews, overall I would recommend this hostel.

The value for my money was excellent, with a good price for the location near the city center. The room was comfortable and the staff treated me with endless helpfulness and warmth. The location was perfect, within a 5-minute walk to False Creek and the ferries to Granville Island, as well as the Hop on Hop Off bus stops.

Morning meal could be better with cleaner tables and floors.
