We loved the excellent location, just a short stroll away from the charming village. Close enough that we could walk to all the facilities easily, making it very convenient. The family room was spacious and accommodated our group perfectly, with plenty of space for our luggage. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, exceeding all our expectations. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, always there to help when needed. We also enjoyed the peaceful landscape surrounding the inn, providing a serene and relaxing atmosphere.

loved our stay at the inn in wakefield. hosts were amazing, made delicious wheat-free breakfasts and gave great advice on the area. felt like being in a swiss inn, with beautiful surroundings and skiing nearby. felt comfortable and at home, didn't even bother shutting our room door.

No safe footpaths to walk to town.

The b&b had a charming and cosy Swiss-style atmosphere, which made me feel like I was in a winter wonderland. the host was lovely, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I also loved that the location was just a short distance from some of the best Nordic skiing in the world and a beautiful little town with great restaurants and cafes.

It would have been nice to have had a pair of slippers provided, as we had to leave our snowy boots at the door. there weren't enough hooks, hangers, or shelves in the room and bathroom, which made it difficult to keep our belongings organized.

the breakfast was amazing! vegan options were delicious and exceeded our expectations. the host was pleasant and provided us with helpful information about the area. Wakefield is a cute place to visit with great trails and activities near the Gatineau river.

Our stay at La Grange was wonderful! We were looking for a cozy retreat and found just that. The room was comfortable, clean, and had great amenities for those chilly winter nights. The entire ground floor was available for our use, complete with a well-equipped kitchen, inviting fireplace, plenty of seating, and even a sauna! The host was friendly and helpful. It was the perfect base for exploring the area and we can't wait to return.

Enjoyed a relaxing Thanksgiving getaway in the countryside. Loved the full-kitchen facilities that allowed us to cook our own meals and save some money. the extensive grounds provided a peaceful escape from the bustle of the city. the nearby river and town provided fun outings.

The bed was a little too firm for our tastes, but still provided a cozy night's sleep. the shared bathroom, while ultra-clean and well-equipped, can run into some accessibility issues if all the rooms are booked, as we had to wait our turn a couple of times.
