As young holiday goers, we loved the unique blend of old and new at this historic hotel. The modern amenities and sleek furnishings made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast buffet, served in silence like in a monastery, was a lovely way to start each day. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, especially with our never-ending need for coffee! The location in the heart of Old Quebec was perfect for exploring the city.

Secondly, the service provided by the staff was superb. They were attentive and made sure all my needs were met. Lastly, the rooms were oversized and faced a quiet courtyard, providing a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation.

This hotel is a gem just inside the old town wall with a great location on the hill. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the breakfast offered several items with homemade jam. New Year's at an ancient hotel. A unique weekend with a true monastic feel to it. Plenty of peace and quiet made possible by a complete lack of TV and phone. Wi-Fi access is possible, though. Taking a tour through the neighboring museum to the nuns is highly recommended. Finally, the chance to savor scrumptious organic and locally-sourced fare rounded out the experience.
