As a tourist, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this unique and charming house. The hosts were incredibly friendly and I had the pleasure of chatting with the 96-year-old Grand Dame of the house. The bed was very comfortable and the house had a lovely, creaky charm to it. It was fascinating to discover that the house doubles as a museum, with a collection of antique items that captured my attention. The location is perfect if you are traveling through Canada, especially if you are coming from Percè to West Québec. Additionally, the neighborhood was super quiet and everything, including the waterfront, restaurants, and grocery store. The breakfast was delicious, the interior was tastefully decorated, and the entire house was spotlessly clean. The host was also great with communication before and during our stay, making the experience even better. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely book this place.

I recently stayed at Maison Mckenzie House for a weekend getaway. The eclectic decor added a unique charm to the place. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area. I loved how close the hotel was to restaurants, beautiful scenery, and downtown amenities. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Having an en-suite bathroom was a big plus compared to the other rooms that shared a bath. And let's not forget about the breakfast - the fresh pancakes, along with the homemade jellies and jams, were absolutely delicious!
