The natural beauty of the Malahat location and well-kept grounds were wonderful. The staff member at reception was helpful in explaining the uturn lanes on the highway. Close proximity to Goldstream Provincial Park and the hidden gem of Malahat Chalet restaurant across the road.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The unit was very clean, modern and roomy, with a comfortable bed. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, even allowing me to extend my stay when there were no other available rooms. The hotel's location just off the highway provided convenient access to the rest of the island.

our recent stay in malahat was better than expected thanks to bungalows motel. friendly staff, updated room, and a peaceful setting made it perfect. we loved the cozy cabin and the personal touch of a small balcony among the trees.

Something smelled awful in the room.

We loved the beautiful aesthetics of the property and the convenient outside parking. The cabin-esque style of the duplex was quaint and comfortable, providing all the practical conveniences we needed. The owners were extremely friendly, and we enjoyed the tranquility of the grounds, as well as spotting deer in the yard. It was great to have plenty of space to walk our dogs without inconveniencing anyone. The location was also central to Victoria and other places we wanted to visit, making it very convenient.

poor communication

The motel is conveniently located next to Highway #1, making it easily accessible for travelers. Despite being close to a busy highway, the cottages provide a surprisingly quiet environment for guests. The motel is also situated across from a great restaurant, offering guests dining options within walking distance.

There were some issues with communication and customer service, as mentioned in one of the reviews.

Overpowering smell of plug-in deodorizer.

We had a short stay at the Bungalows Motel and it was perfect for exploring the area. The cabin-like duplex suite was quaint and had all the convenience we needed. The bed was comfortable and the pillows weren't overstuffed. The beautiful property is surrounded by trees, so expect some bugs in the room, but it wasn't a big deal for us. The location is great for visiting Goldstream Park, kayaking from Bamberton or Brentwood Bay, and it's a short drive into Victoria. good value, clean, and comfortable.

Totally recommend this hotel.
