I had an exceptional stay at a hotel in the Kanata area. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a spacious and relaxing environment. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, ensuring a hassle-free experience. Additionally, the staff members were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The hotel also offered a delicious continental breakfast, which exceeded my expectations with its fresh and wide selection of options. I was pleasantly surprised by the convenience of amenities in my room, including a good-sized fridge and a microwave. As a pet owner, I appreciated the ample space provided to walk my dog outside. my stay was flawless, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Although my overall experience was great, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. there was a policy requiring a credit card as the only payment method for a $50 deposit, which I found unfriendly.

Not to mention, the hotel feels new and squeaky clean, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

We arrived a bit early for check-in, but the staff at Microtel were accommodating and had our room ready by 3:15pm. They even apologized for initially giving us a dirty room and promptly switched us to a clean one. The small gift they offered as a gesture of apology was a nice touch. The location was convenient, the room was spacious and clean with two bathrooms, and the check-in and check-out process was speedy. The wifi speed was impressive, and parking was hassle-free.

Although the studio king suite was fantastic, it would have been nice to have a door stopper for the internal doors, as we didn't always want them closed. Additionally, the card keys kept deactivating on the second night, which was a bit inconvenient.
