Musty smell in hotel.

I recently stayed at Bayside Resort in Parksville for a weekend getaway. The location was easy to get to and the rooms were beautifully decorated with comfortable bedding. The front desk staff were all very helpful and accommodating. Our oceanview room was clean and the view was gorgeous. I loved the little touches like the nespresso machine with real glassware. The breakfast at the restaurant was fantastic as well. The soundproofing in the room was decent, and we couldn't hear our neighbors. a fantastic stay and I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel's cleanliness was outstanding, and the facilities, including the pool and the restaurant, were top-notch. We even got the chance to enjoy live music during our meal. the hotel offered a great location, with easy access to the main boardwalk and a stunning view of the west coast.

We were absolutely blown away by the breathtaking view from the King Oceanview room we stayed in at Ascend Hotel. Opening the balcony door in the morning to the sound of birds and seals in the bay below was pure bliss. We even had the privilege of watching a pair of bald eagles nesting in a nearby tree. We also appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room and the availability of hot water and coffee down the hall each morning. The paint odor was overwhelming throughout the hotel. the air conditioner in the room emitted an unpleasant exhaust smell and the bathroom fan didn't work.

The Bayside Resort offers a great value for money. The prices for the rooms are reasonable and considering the attention to detail and the location on the ocean, it's definitely worth it. The hotel is right on the waterfront, giving guests beautiful views of the ocean. The rooms are well-appointed with good amenities like Nespresso machines and lovely bath products. And to top it off, breakfast is included in the stay, making it even more convenient for guests.
