I recently stayed at Residence Inn in downtown Calgary for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff, particularly the friendly Asian gentleman who checked me in, made me feel very welcome. The hotel has a minimalist design and our room was impeccably clean. We loved the view of the city and Calgary Tower from our room, as well as the convenience of the smart TV. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and being able to make our own waffles was a highlight!

The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the city. It's within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and pubs, and it's close to the rail line, making it easy to get around. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and beautiful views of the city. The staff is friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze. Breakfast is also included and offers a variety of options.

The soundproofing in the rooms could be improved, as some guests mentioned being disturbed by street construction noises in the morning.

My stay at Residence Inn was amazing! The fully-equipped kitchen in my suite was perfect for cooking meals. Even though I had to request some supplies, the staff was very pleasant and brought everything I needed. The views from the upper floors were great and the location was central. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options, although it could have been better considering the hotel's upscale status. The location of the hotel in the downtown belt line area was superb, with a quiet and convenient atmosphere. The size of the room was massive and felt like our own apartment. Despite it being the opening weekend of The Stampede, noise was not an issue as it was unrelated to the hotel. The coffee bar on-site, 'The Stables', was a hidden gem.
