The property was also home to four horses and even black bears, adding to the unique charm of the place. The cabins were cozy and well-equipped, with gas-powered lights, warm water, and a large fridge. the views from the porch were breathtaking and provided a sense of peace and privacy. the owners were friendly and helpful, even checking the road conditions for us. We loved the presence of horses and the opportunity to swim in a quiet lake nearby. It was also a bonus to see a mother bear with her cubs from a safe distance.

We only stayed for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. the couch in the cabin could use an update as the cushions sank too low, making it uncomfortable to sit on.
