The hotel is located in the city center with a beautiful view of the lake and Sleeping Giant Provincial Park. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and newly updated. The old building and decor add to the ambiance. Families with children will appreciate the nice and clean bathrooms.

The building's architecture was beautifully preserved, adding to the charm of the place. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bed and heated tiles in the bathroom. I loved the cozy atmosphere and the mix of modern and historic elements. The hotel's location near the waterfront was perfect for scenic walks. The best part was that they were pet-friendly, treating my furry companions like valued guests. Breakfast was included and although it was delivered in a paper bag, the variety and quality were good. Ascend Hotel provided great value for the money.

The only drawback was the noise I experienced in my basement room. I could hear creaking floors above me, disruptive sounds from the hallway, and even a baby crying at night.

I recently stayed at the Courthouse Hotel for a weekend getaway. The concept of converting an old courthouse into a hotel was fascinating and they did a fantastic job preserving its character. The mixture of modern style with original courthouse features was tastefully done throughout the property. Our room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable, and I was happy to find that it was pet-friendly without compromising on quality. The breakfast bags they provided were a cute touch, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
