During our family holiday, we found the perfect place to stay. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the main downtown area, the Banff downtown core, and even Yoho park for our hiking adventures. The rooms were well-appointed, with comfortable beds and immaculate bathrooms. The service provided by Susan, the host, was exceptional, especially during the delicious breakfasts she served every morning. We also enjoyed the outdoor sitting areas and the proximity to various attractions. it was a truly enjoyable experience.

We did experience some noise from the nearby railway line during the night.

The location of this B&B is ideal, with easy access to downtown and all the amenities in the area. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with a pleasant view of the garden. The bathroom is also clean and well-maintained. The service provided by the host, Susan, is exceptional, with delicious and filling breakfasts and lovely conversation. The common kitchen and eating area are convenient for those with special dietary requirements.

The shower can be quite noisy, which may disturb some guests.

During my stay at The Poplar Inn, I was impressed by the convenient location. It was within walking distance to all the main attractions in town. I was able to explore everything without needing to rely on transportation. The chalet I stayed in was also relatively new, providing a modern and comfortable atmosphere. It even had a washer and dryer, allowing me to conveniently do laundry during my stay.

I did experience a few minor inconveniences during my stay. The frequent passing of the train through Banff was a bit disruptive, with the noise and vibrations from the train waking me up during the night.

What a gem to have a beautiful B&B, well located and appointed, with a very friendly and generous host. We stayed for three nights and each breakfast was different and very well presented. Having access to a microwave and fridge, along with an outdoor patio, made our stay even more enjoyable. The host, a longtime resident, engaged in many long conversations with us, especially over leisurely breakfasts. Lovely gardens and patio in front and back added to the charm.

We had such a lovely time staying at this gem of a bed and breakfast. Poplar Inn, located in a quiet yet convenient area near all the activities, exceeded our expectations. The two-room accommodation was incredibly comfortable and we enjoyed our privacy in the well-appointed guest section. The rooms were spacious and the king-sized beds provided a great night's sleep. We especially loved the access to the guest deck with outdoor furniture, perfect for enjoying the courtyard. Susan, our wonderful host, made our stay even more enjoyable with her generosity and friendliness. Each morning, she prepared a delicious and beautifully presented breakfast, with a different menu each day. The availability of a microwave and fridge, as well as the outdoor patio area, added to the overall experience. We also appreciated the safe and accessible parking right in front of the house. We highly recommend Poplar Inn for its comfort, location, and the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by Susan.
