This hotel is in an outstanding location, with close access to the central park and within walking distance from the city centre. The staff here is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms, although small, are perfectly clean, comfortable, and cozy. The breakfast served in the pleasant dining room is delicious, with freshly made juice everyday and the best homemade jams I've ever tasted.

Plus, being able to purchase food on-site was a convenient bonus after a long day exploring Santiago.

The only minor inconvenience was that the hostel is an old house without an elevator, so carrying heavy luggage up to my room was a bit challenging. Additionally, housekeeping didn't automatically service the rooms, so it would have been nice to know if I needed to request it.

During my stay at Hostal Rio Amazonas, I had an excellent experience. The location is superb, with easy access to the metro station and a neighborhood full of restaurants. My room was spacious and clean, and the friendly and helpful staff made my stay even more enjoyable. They even offered an early breakfast for those who needed to leave early. The atmosphere was welcoming, and I especially appreciated the option to pay in dollars to avoid the 19% tax. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I ever return to the area.
