The hotel is right next to the vibrant Wangfujing shopping street. It's a breeze to explore famous spots like the Forbidden City, and the nearby food options are a definite plus. Plus, the breakfast spread was diverse, with plenty of tasty options that everyone, including the kids, enjoyed.

However, the hotel does show its age. Some fixtures in the bathroom are a bit tired, and the heating was tricky to control, making the nights a bit chilly.

The hotel’s location was a fantastic starting point for my Beijing adventure, just a stone's throw from major sites like the Forbidden City. The breakfast spread was diverse and got my day off to a great start!

Locating the hotel was a hassle due to incorrect mapping and limited clarity for non-locals, adding stress to the arrival. Plus, the room had no central heating, only a standalone heater that wasn't even plugged in, which made for an uncomfortable chill at night. Housekeeping cleaned the bathroom, but with communication issues, I ended up cleaning the toilet seat myself because it was overlooked. The overall need for some room refreshment was pretty clear after a few days.

The executive room was massive, with a big bath tub and spacious counter. I really enjoyed the automated currency exchange machine, such a nice touch!
