The value for money was great, the room was fantastic with a luxurious feel. The location was perfect, close to Yuyuan Garden, the Bund, and with a subway station right across the road. The staff treated us very well and were friendly.

Felt cosy, nothing to complain about.

During our New Year stay, we really liked the amazing view from our room and the rooftop pool. The location of the hotel was also a major advantage, as it was conveniently located right next to a subway station and in close proximity to Yuyan Garden. The hotel staff also surprised me with a birthday cake and card, which was a thoughtful gesture.

One major downside of our stay was the poor wifi connection, which the hotel attributed to a technical issue. This was quite a disappointment as we had trouble connecting throughout our stay.

As young people, we loved the convenience of the hotel's location. Just a 5-minute walk from The Bund and surrounded by shops and restaurants. And being right on top of the metro stop was a game-changer for exploring the city. The floor-to-ceiling windows in our room gave us incredible views of the city, including the Pearl and Shanghai Tower. The rooftop bar with its 360-degree views was truly one of the best in the city. The club lounge had exceptional service from friendly and attentive staff, like Sunny and Sandra. the facilities and amenities were plentiful, with a standout being the swimming pool.

It was conveniently close to the metro station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the modern facilities were top-notch. We particularly loved the proximity to Yu Garden, which allowed us to enjoy the beauty of this city. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Nothing could have been better.

We stayed at Renaissance for 4 nights during our sightseeing trip to Shanghai. The hotel's location was excellent, just a short walk from the Bund and with the YuYuan Gardens right next door. The view from our spacious bedroom window was amazing, showcasing the city skyline. The room was very clean and had two comfortable double beds. The breakfast selection was excellent and the staff were incredibly polite and helpful. The Metro station was conveniently located just across the road, making it easy for us to explore the city.

the check-in process at Renaissance was a breeze. the WiFi provided was one of the best I've experienced in China. the staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and attentive. They promptly delivered room service upon our arrival, which was delicious. the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, with attentive staff serving coffee, tea, and juices. the pool area was clean and well-maintained, providing large towels and robes in the rooms. the room itself was clean and spacious, with a great view. the location of the hotel was also perfect, with shops, restaurants, and attractions right outside the door. the hotel staff were even helpful in arranging transportation to Disney and our next hotel. the hotel bar was a great place to relax with a drink, and the peanuts served were a tasty treat. I also appreciated the honesty of the hotel manager, who promptly emailed me about a forgotten item. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent customer service and comfortable accommodations.

I had a great stay at the Renaissance! The location was fantastic - right across from the metro and close to many attractions. The room was comfortable and the bed was perfect for a good night's sleep. The staff at the lobby and housekeeping were very helpful and provided excellent service. Plus, the hotel was conveniently located next to Yu Garden, where I could easily find food, go shopping, and experience the local culture. I highly recommend this hotel for its convenient location and comfortable rooms.

The hotel's cleanliness was top-notch, with spotless rooms and a very clean bathroom. The staff at the reception spoke excellent English and were very polite and helpful. The location of the hotel was fantastic, right across the street from the Yu Garden subway station and just around the corner from the Yu Yuan Garden shopping area. The hotel was also conveniently near a metro station and a TESCO grocery store.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city. It was conveniently located near popular tourist sites like the YuYuan Lao Jie and Yu Garden as well as the Bund. the hotel was also right next to a metro station, making it easy to get around. the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, providing us with directions and recommendations for restaurants and shops in the area.

One downside during our stay was the inconsistency of the rooms. We had to switch rooms twice before finding one that was suitable.

Everything is what i need and want.

Stayed at this hotel over New Year and had a great experience. the bed was super comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep after celebrating. the hotel's location was ideal, with easy access to the main attractions in the city. Additionally, the indoor swimming pool on the top floor provided stunning views of the cityscape.

I was disappointed with the breakfast experience. the service was slow and the food options were limited, especially if you're not a fan of greasy eggs and bacon.
