We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The breakfast provided a wide range of choices and the food was of great quality. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, with special thanks to Martijn Glaser and Monica Chen for their excellent service. The hotel's location was also perfect, situated on the sofa between Yu Yuan Garden and Nanjing East Road metros and within walking distance to The Bund. Transportation was convenient, making it easy for us to explore the city.

I recently stayed at The Westin in Shanghai for a week-long vacation. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk from major attractions like the Nanjing Pedestrian Mall, the Pudong Ferry Terminal, the Bund, Yu Garden. The Grand Tower offered stunning views of Pudong, and my room was not only clean but also had a comfortable bed and a luxurious plunge bathtub. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, with both Western and Asian cuisine options, and the staff, especially my waiter Michael Wang, provided excellent service. Check-in and check-out were smooth, thanks to Jessie Zhang and Jeremy Wang's efficiency and helpfulness.

The buffet at The Westin was absolutely amazing! There were so many delicious food choices, including Asian and American options. I especially enjoyed the baozi from the glass steam cabinet. The breakfast spread was extensive and satisfying. The room I stayed in was cozy and had ample space for work and relaxation. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location of the hotel was perfect - just a short walk to The Bund and Nanjing Road, Shanghai's main shopping belt. I had a fantastic stay at The Westin and would highly recommend it.

The bed is incredibly comfortable, the room is well-appointed with plenty of storage space, excellent rain shower, and good breakfast with a variety of food.

Upgraded room with Bund view and added luxury for husband's 50th birthday. Delicious breakfast with good choices. Good range of foods and drinks for all tastes. Excellent location for accessing attractions. Helpful and efficient staff.

We loved the cleanliness and facilities of the hotel. The room was immaculate and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom facilities were excellent, including a great plunge bathtub. The hotel also had a decent pool and gym. The location was fantastic, close to the high-end Bund area, several attractions, the shopping street, and metro stations. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide range of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The location was great for exploring the city and the staff were friendly. We also appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi and breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options.

Our experience at the hotel was not entirely positive. One of the chefs was visibly ill and coughed several times before spitting into the cooking area.

The hotel offers a clean and well-maintained environment with attentive staff. The breakfast selection is varied and delicious. The location is excellent, within walking distance to popular attractions such as People's Square, Yuyuan Gardens, and The Bund. The bathroom is spacious and includes a separate walk-in shower.

We had a delightful stay at Westin. The Sunday Brunch was a highlight, offering a wide range of delicious dishes. The staff was helpful and spoke English fluently. The location near the Bund and Nanjing road was convenient. The spacious bedroom was perfect for our family. The breakfast was exceptional and had a variety of options.

The hotel had excellent hardware, especially the heavenly bed which was very comfortable. The location was decent, though I preferred another hotel that was closer to the Nanjing road and metro station. The breakfast buffet was a real treat, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The views from the room, including the lit up Bund at night, were stunning.

There was a particular incident where a front office staff member kept my friend's associate card and was reluctant to return it. They were uncooperative and made the whole situation unnecessarily difficult.

The staff's assistance with taxi rides and directions was great. Rachel's help with our business crisis was exceptional. Easy access to Metro and the Bund, a 10-minute walk. Room was clean with a good city view. Excellent breakfast and helpful staff. Try the Italian restaurant for dinner.

Loved the property:

The rooms were nice and spacious, perfect for our family of four. the lobby was stunning and made a great first impression. the concierge was extremely helpful and gave us great recommendations for nearby attractions. the location was key, as it was conveniently located near the Bund and within walking distance to the underground. We also enjoyed the amenities offered, especially the gym which was well, equipped and spacious.

Luxurious property near shopping district, comfortable beds, extraordinary city views, spacious and sunny room, amazing views of the Pearl Tower.
