I recently stayed at Yangshuo Mountain Retreat for a few nights and it was absolutely wonderful! The hotel has a strong commitment to the environment, which I really appreciated. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered breathtaking views. The staff went above and beyond, assisting us with moped rentals and arranging a hotel shuttle for our next destination. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the location right on the river was truly unique. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

We had a blast exploring the nearby rafting landings and drifting down the river. The views were breathtaking, and we even got dropped off right at the hotel. The new riverfront path was on fire! We hiked up to the most scenic spots on the Yulong River and took some sick Insta-worthy pics. Such an adventure!

The only thing we wished for was more options for parties and nightlife. We were in the mood to dance and have a wild time, but there weren't many options for young party-goers nearby.

We loved the amazing riverfront location of this hotel, perfect for bike riders like us. The staff were super helpful and arranged a moped for us. The view from the breakfast area was breathtaking and the food was extremely delicious and affordable.

They were all friendly, spoke English fluently, and were incredibly helpful in organizing taxis and sightseeing trips. The location was peaceful and beautiful, with lovely walks and the option to relax under a tree and watch the bamboo rafts go by. The massage service offered in-room was a great treat and the restaurant had a wide selection of delicious and reasonably priced meals. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and the gardens were well maintained. we had an incredible experience and will definitely be returning.

My partner and I had a three-day stay at this fantastic hotel by the river. The staff, especially Michelle, were friendly and helpful. Michelle recommended a nearby village where we had a beautiful evening walk amidst rice fields and surrounding mountains. The food at the recommended restaurant was excellent, and the cost of the meal was very reasonable. The location, overlooking the river, was perfect for relaxation. The hotel staff spoke excellent English, and our large, well-equipped room added to the overall experience. The activities offered, such as rafting and biking, made our stay even more enjoyable.

We loved that they spoke English fluently, which made communication easy. One of the best aspects was the abundant and tasty food served at the restaurant. We also appreciated the range of activities they offered, such as sunrise hikes and massages.

That the hotel's location in the park made it a bit difficult to get to other places. It often required taking a taxi or car, which added to the overall cost.

Staying at the retreat was an incredibly peaceful and idyllic experience. The location, nestled by the Yulong River with views of the Karst mountains, was simply stunning. The staff, led by Fish, were not only friendly and polite, but also spoke excellent English. They were always willing to go above and beyond to ensure a delightful stay. Special mention goes to Michelle Fan, a delightful tour guide who added an extra touch to our visit. The food, including options for a Coeliac diet, was excellent. it was the best hotel experience I've ever had.

The rooms are beautifully designed with traditional Chinese furniture, and the big balcony with comfy day-beds is a great place to relax and take in the stunning views of the river and mountains. During our Christmas stay at this hotel, we enjoyed the fantastic view of the limestone mountains and the river. It was truly breathtaking to wake up every morning and see the stunning landscape right from our balcony. The location of the hotel was also perfect, with bamboo rafts available for rental to explore the river and the traditional Chinese style character of the resort adding a unique charm. The staff were friendly and most spoke English, making communication easy. The availability of both Western and Chinese food was a great advantage, and we loved having breakfast near the river with a good selection of delicious dishes.

Our stay was amazing! The hotel was situated in a beautiful mountain retreat with a lovely outdoor area to relax in. We could sit near the water and watch the tourists paddle by. , the complementary fruit juices and little gifts at check-out really made our stay extra special. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for a peaceful holiday away from the hustle and bustle of big cities.

Our room faced the street and was quite noisy due to the big lorries driving by during the day. Plus, the shower was also a bit challenging.
