my recent stay in santa marta was amazing and carolina del mar exceeded my expectations. the location was perfect, close to the beach and mercado, and i felt safe walking around. the staff was friendly and the swimming pool was a great bonus.

During my stay at Hotel Carolina Del Mar, I was pleasantly surprised by the modern facilities and excellent condition of everything. The location was convenient, only a short distance away from restaurants, parks, and bars. The staff, although maybe a little reserved, were friendly and provided helpful service. The hotel even offered laundry service, which was a great convenience. I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience at Hotel Carolina Del Mar.

Despite the drawbacks mentioned in some reviews, such as the noise and occasional unpleasant smell in the common areas, I found that these issues did not significantly impact my stay. The hotel's proximity to industrial areas and occasional flooding in the streets were minor inconveniences, but it didn't affect my overall impression.
