The location was ideal, just a few minutes' walk from the metro station. the area felt safe and secure, and we were given a map and lots of helpful information about the city upon arrival. Silvia, the friendly owner, made us feel right at home and gave us insightful tips about Medellin. the room was spacious, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. We especially enjoyed preparing our own breakfast each morning. this was the best hostel experience we've had in Colombia!

We had a fantastic stay at Hostal Rich! the location was perfect, just a short walk to the Metro and a supermarket, making it really convenient for getting around. the hostel itself was great, with maps and public transport information on the walls for easy reference. Silvia, the host, was incredibly helpful and had answers to all of our questions about Medellin and the surrounding area. the room was cozy and comfortable, with cute little lights that added a nice touch. And let's not forget about the lovely dog! it was a wonderful experience.

I had a decent stay in a good area near the metro station and a big supermarket. The location was really convenient for exploring the city. Additionally, I appreciated the fact that I could check in early after a long night bus ride. The owner's sister was lovely and helpful, providing some great tips for things to do in the area.

Though there were a few drawbacks, such as the noise from the kitchen and the lack of proper window frames in Colombian-owned places, I would still recommend this hostel for a decent and comfortable stay.

The location is mind-blowing, just a short walk to the metro station which takes you all over the city and Carrera 70 which has jaw-dropping restaurants and nightlife. The hostel had a great social atmosphere, with a cozy common area where you could easily meet and chat with other travelers. The noise from outside in the morning, which woke me up earlier than I would have liked. the room I stayed in didn't have much storage space and lacked hooks to hang things.

The rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. The owner is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service and ensuring a pleasant stay. Breakfast materials are available for self-preparation. The common areas are comfortable, and there are even pets to hang out with.

The interactions with the owner and another guest/staff member were uncomfortable, as they seemed to enjoy finding things to complain about.

I stayed at Hostal Rich for a week and it was amazing. Silvia, the host, was incredibly friendly and gave us great recommendations. The neighborhood, Laureles, is a nice residential area with a big supermarket nearby. The hostel itself is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It has a great location, close to excellent restaurants, the metro, and bars. The design of the hostel is also very appealing, with plants and cozy common areas. And an added bonus, they have adorable pets who are very quiet and keep to themselves.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.
