the rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and it was so peaceful at night, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. the common areas were a highlight for us, with multiple rooms on different levels to relax in, including a lovely outside area with a garden and hammock. the breakfast served on the comfortable patio was delicious, with eggs, arepas, fresh fruit, and coffee or tea.

We loved the location of Oak Tree House, just a short walk from town, perfect for daily walks. Plenty of tuk tuks available if you prefer not to walk.

The hotel is impeccably clean and beautifully presented. We especially loved the different areas within the property where we could relax and unwind. Our kids had a blast playing with Nani, the adorable resident puppy. Eliana, our host, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. She was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and even helped us with transportation to the airport when we were running late. Plus, her breakfast was absolutely delicious!

My wife says that it would be great if there were more kid-friendly activities available for families with children.

Stayed for 2 nights. The host was very nice and went out of her way to make my stay great. Room had good space, bed was firm, and it was so quiet at night, easy to get a good night's sleep. Enjoyed the common areas - outside garden with hammock, comfy indoor rooms with books, colorful paintings, and antique sewing machine and gramophone. After climbing La Piedra del Penol, returning to the guesthouse and enjoying these areas was a treat. Delicious breakfast served on a comfortable patio.

She had excellent English skills and provided us with fantastic recommendations for things to do in the area. She was attentive to our needs and made sure our room and breakfast order were perfect. the location of the guest house was ideal, just a short walk from the main square, making it quiet and relaxing at night. the room itself was fabulous, as were the shared spaces. the breakfast provided was delicious and kept us satisfied for the day. We highly recommend staying at this guest house, one of the best we've stayed at, thanks to Maria's exceptional hospitality.

Although the room arrangements were a bit disappointing, the manager was very patient and tried her best to make us comfortable. We encountered some issues with the internet in our specific room, but the staff was kind enough to let us use the main area to work.
