The room was clean and sufficient for our 4 night stay in the Lake Arenal area. Falling asleep to the sound of the rippling river nearby was so nice. The Agua had nice warm showers, friendly staff, and the most incredible spot to eat breakfast. The surroundings were gorgeous, with a beautiful pool and well-kept grounds. The included breakfasts were delicious. The owner and staff were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

I had an amazing time at this beautiful inn nestled in the heart of nature. the breakfast on the balcony overlooking the pool and garden was excellent. I loved starting my day with a fresh fruit plate, scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast or pancakes with maple syrup. the friendly parrot added to the charm of the inn, entertaining us during breakfast with her playful interactions with the resident dog. the tropical grounds with orchids, trees, and a stream running through were beautiful and well-maintained. the hosts were incredibly helpful, providing suggestions for activities and dining options nearby. the room was cozy and comfortable, with a lovely view of the garden and a clean, modern bathroom.

I had such a wonderful stay at this charming family-run hotel. The small and cosy atmosphere made me feel right at home. The common area was lovely, and I loved being able to relax by the river and enjoy the stunning gardens. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. The highlight of my stay was visiting the nearby Tinajas Arenal restaurant with its amazing organic food and stunning lake view. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly enjoyable and memorable experience.

Located close to town for restaurants, Agua Inn Nuevo Arenal is nestled on a hillside, offering a stunning view of a small flowing river. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with warm showers and a friendly staff. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast on the balcony, where the sound of the river creates a peaceful ambiance. The surrounding nature is teeming with wildlife, providing a unique backpacking experience.

The hotel is a bit secluded, which may require a taxi or car rental to reach popular attractions.

Had a nice Thanksgiving with family, with plenty of places to go hiking. Really appreciated the free breakfast that was served, as well as the warm showers, and the stunning views of the nearby river and wildlife. With all the trees around, it was really relaxing to just take a break and listen to the birds chirping and the river flowing.

That being said, the distance from other attractions was a major downside. You basically need a car in order to get around, as everything was spread out and the public transportation took a long time.

Clean and comfortable rooms with beautiful tropical plants and a soothing river sound. The pool's unique design with built-in rocks was impressive.

The value for our money at the inn was excellent, and our room was clean and comfortable. The location in the rainforest was breathtaking, surrounded by lush trees and greenery. The staff treated us with kindness and provided helpful recommendations for activities and places to eat.

Breakfast delights could be improved with more options or variety.
