I loved the rustic charm of the lodge and the beautiful rainforest surroundings. The hiking trails with hanging bridges were amazing, and I even saw tapir tracks on one of the trails. The king bed in my room was super comfortable, and there was plenty of space in both the room and bathroom. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The property was secluded yet well-maintained under new ownership, creating a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend having a car to explore the area and a 4-wheel drive if you prefer, but even with just a front-wheel drive car, I enjoyed the adventure of getting here.

The hotel facilities were clean and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. They were always helpful and friendly, even assisting me when I got lost on a nearby hiking trail. The property is still undergoing updates, and there were some minor repairs that still needed to be done, such as the bathroom window locks and ceiling fan. The noise from other tourists occasionally disrupted our peace and quiet.

As a nature lover, I had a fantastic stay at the lodge for three nights. The location is perfect, nestled in a beautiful forest with a great trail and hanging bridges to explore. The rooms, both the join chalet and the separate "tree house" cabins, were clean and comfortable, with extra large beds and en suite bathrooms. The continental breakfast was delicious, with homemade tropical jam being a highlight. a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
