Our stay at Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails was pure paradise! The location was perfect, surrounded by stunning natural beauty and offering great access to zip lining, lava hikes, and waterfall trails. We stayed in the White Hawk Villa, which was amazing. Despite the rainy weather, the comfortable rooms provided a cozy retreat. The hotel grounds were well-maintained, and we enjoyed spotting various animals on the trails. The views of the volcano and lake were truly breathtaking. The staff at the reception was very helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to experience the natural beauty of the Arenal area.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the knowledgeable receptionist, Esteban, who made our experience unforgettable. The trails were peaceful and the hotel's commitment to the environment was admirable. We loved watching the variety of birds from the terrace and enjoyed the hot tub at the pool. Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

As low-budget travelers, my husband and I loved the convenient location of our room, right across from the restaurant and close to the front desk. The walk-around balcony with the breathtaking view of Arenal Volcano from the restaurant was a highlight. The staff, especially Adsrubal and others at the front desk, were extremely helpful in filling our free day with activities such as the Don Juan coffee tour, trip to LaFortuna waterfall, and exploring Fortuna. The 90-minute massages onsite were wonderfully relaxing. The dining experience was delightful, with sack lunches provided when we had to leave early for an activity and excellent breakfast and dinner options.

The lodge had a beautifully decorated and clean room with a stunning terrace that offered amazing views of the hotel's territory and the Arenal volcano. The surroundings were lovely, and we enjoyed the free morning walk, spotting various birds, coatis, and even a monkey. The pool and jacuzzi were great, and the observatory tower was a unique feature. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the staff were exceptional. it was the best place we stayed at during our trip.

I recently stayed at this incredible lodge for two days and it was absolutely amazing. The location is perfect for nature lovers, with brilliant hiking trails and an abundance of wildlife right on the doorstep. The grounds are stunning and the facilities, including the pool, restaurant, and terraces, were all top-notch. What made this experience truly unique was the opportunity to see birds and animals up close and hike the trails to get different angles of the volcano. No need for overpriced tours when you can have it all right here.
