The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff was friendly, bilingual, and always ready to help. The hot spring pools were a highlight, with various temperatures and the natural, unchlorinated water felt amazing. The hotel's location, surrounded by nature and with a view of the nearby volcano, added to the beauty of the place. The cleanliness of the facilities was outstanding, and the bars in the water were a unique touch. The hotel even went above and beyond to accommodate my vegan dietary needs and surprise my daughter with a birthday cake. I highly recommend this hotel and have wonderful memories from our stay. Beautiful grounds, stunning volcano view, well-designed bathrooms, hot springs pools. Friendly staff, stocked mini fridge, evening chocolates. Bountiful breakfast, attentive servers. Close to downtown La Fortuna. Great value, loved our stay.

Great hot springs and sunken bars for relaxation. Excellent variety of food options in the on-site restaurants. The staff was lovely and helpful throughout the stay.

The food was a bit pricey and there weren't enough lower-cost options available. Drinks were expensive as well.

Found a sloth on the way to our room. Natural hot springs in our modern plunge pool in our own private garden. Wonderful room, great outdoor area. Big comfy bed, huge bathroom with two outdoor showers in another separate and private courtyard as well as massive shower inside. The free breakfast is VERY good and plenty of food. We overate at every breakfast and often skipped lunch! Great location, few miles from La Fortuna so I would recommend you have a rental car. Good roads there, mostly all paved from Liberia airport to the hotel - takes about 2.5 hours.

This hotel is the perfect base for exploring La Fortuna. The rooms are spacious and clean, with views of the famous volcano right outside your window. Plus, the staff is attentive and helpful in every way possible.

Amazing experience at this resort with its expansive grounds and golf cart service. The view of the volcano from our modern and spacious duplex cabin was breathtaking. The hot springs in the pool area were relaxing and the two on-site restaurants were great. Internet and English TV in the rooms were a plus. highly recommended.

Not one thing.

We got amazing value for our money at Arenal Springs Resort. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and had an uninterrupted view of the Arenal Volcano. The staff was extremely nice, cordial, and always ready to help. The location was perfect, with plenty of activities nearby and pick-up service available.

The breakfast could have been improved with more spices or seasoning in some dishes.

Excellent Hotel and Location for your Stay in Arenal!!!!

Had an amazing 3-night stay with my family at this hotel. The check-in process was smooth and we were warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink and cold washcloth. The bungalow-style rooms were perfect, and we loved that we could drive our car right up to our room. The beds were comfortable, and we even had complimentary beers and waters in the mini-fridge. The bathroom had a great shower with natural lighting, and we enjoyed sitting outside on the seats that looked up at Arenal. The service was top-notch, with every team member being terrific. The included breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of options. The housekeeping staff was efficient and our room was always clean. The multiple pools and thermal spas added to the overall relaxation of our stay. We loved the views of the volcano and the surrounding nature. The area was great, with a nearby tourist town and plenty of dining options. I highly recommend this hotel for a restful stay with excellent service.

the stay at springs resort & spa was absolutely amazing! the staff was friendly and went above and beyond, making us feel welcome and at home. the breakfast was delicious and the rooms were spotless. we loved the view of the Arenal Volcano from our room and the hot springs pools were a highlight. overall, exceeded our expectations.

Overpriced restaurant and drinks.

The resort has picturesque landscaping and views of a nearby volcano. An excellent selection of food and drinks is featured in the included breakfast buffet. The hotel staff is helpful and eco-friendly, while the rooms offer comfortable, pest-free accommodations. The property features hot spring pools, playgrounds, and hammocks for relaxation. Golf carts are also available for transportation.

Sitting atop a mound, the hotel offers breathtaking views down the hillside over the trees. Rooms are air-conditioned and offer a balcony with a serene mountain view. The resort location was perfect to immerse in nature and be sure to pay attention to the wildlife, birds, iguanas, frogs and toucans.

The restaurant was lackluster for my taste and the food was just average, bordering on bland.

I had such a great time at the resort! The location was perfect, with a tropical suburbia feel that was so charming. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The room was lovely, and I particularly enjoyed the shower with the solid window. It was a bit unnerving at first, but the view of the volcano and the tropical birds flying by made it such a unique experience. The little touches like the folded towel animals and the fruit bowl really made me feel special. I also loved hanging out on the porch and taking in the view of the cloud capped volcano. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with fresh fruit and an omelet station. They also had a couple of nice little springs to relax in at night. I had a fantastic time at the resort and would definitely recommend it.
