We recently stayed at a beautiful cozy setting in the mountains on our way from the Pacific to the Caribbean coast. the experience at Cedrela Eco-Lodge & Restaurante was fantastic! the cabins had plenty of space and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. the highlight was the delicious food served at the restaurant, which was the best we had during our three weeks in Costa Rica. the hotel also offers tours to see the Quetzal, a rare bird, which added to the overall experience. We highly recommend this place for its stunning setting, friendly staff, and amazing food.

cedrela eco-lodge & restaurante in copey was even better this time! we stayed longer and loved every moment. the family bungalow was perfect, with a cozy fireplace to keep us warm at night. the staff was so friendly and the local food in the restaurant was delicious. don't miss the hike through the beautiful forest and plantations! highly recommend cedrela eco-lodge.

The secluded location provided breathtaking views of the surrounding nature, which I enjoyed from my cozy cabin's balcony. The hot water in the shower was a pleasant surprise and the ample breakfast included in the price was absolutely delicious. The 3km Ficus Trail was a beautiful hike, taking about an hour to complete. The friendly staff made me feel right at home, and the food in the restaurant was the best I've had in the whole country. Highly recommended!

Leo, the manager, was incredibly enthusiastic and helped us arrange a Quetzal tour which was unforgettable. the cabins offered lovely views of the valley and garden, and the birdwatching opportunities were fantastic. the hospitality of the family who runs the lodge was exceptional, and the food at the restaurant was delicious, with a variety of options including a flavorful vegetarian curry. If you're looking for a peaceful nature getaway with friendly hosts, this is the place to go.
