As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the central location, high standard rooms, complementary coffee machine, and helpful staff. The complementary business center on the top floor was also a great convenience. We would definitely stay here again when in San Jose.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The Gran Hotel Costa Rica, part of the Curio Collection, exceeded my expectations. The dinner was excellent, with a great variety and fresh ingredients. The rooms were modern, with fantastic lighting and comfortable beds. The staff were warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of both local and continental options. The hotel itself had a beautiful mix of old-world charm and modern elegance, with preserved tiles and stunning architecture. it was a fantastic experience.

For us, the glass shower and toilet in the shared room were a bit awkward. While we understood the reasoning behind the glass usage, as the windows were small, it made it uncomfortable to use the facilities when someone else was using the sink.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the heart of the city. The location couldn't be better, as it is right on the pedestrian street and within walking distance of almost everything a tourist would want to see. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and quiet room with excellent room darkening shades. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. They even assisted in setting up an antigen test for our trip back to the U.S. Additionally, the breakfast had a good selection and the restaurant and breakfast room provided a great city view.

I stayed at Gran Hotel Costa Rica, Curio Collection By Hilton for one night before heading to the airport and it was a fantastic experience. The facilities were beautiful and the rooms appeared new and modern. The lighting was fantastic and the rainshower was a nice touch. The beds were super comfortable and the staff were warm and welcoming. The breakfast was varied and extremely fresh, with both traditional local food and continental options. The hotel's location was great and my room had a beautiful view of the national theatre. Highly recommended!

The hotel location was great, within walking distance from the pedestrian street and close to the international airport. The breakfast buffet had lots of options, including fresh fruit and made-to-order eggs. The room we stayed in was beautiful, with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The hotel had a full bar and happy hour with free drinks and hot and cold appetizers.

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city and within walking distance to restaurants and museums. The breakfast options were well stocked and delicious. The room was spacious and equipped with everything I needed, including plenty of plugs, USB ports, and HDMI connections. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. One example of their exceptional service was when I needed urgent assistance with my corona-test results for my flight home. They went above and beyond to contact the lab and ensure that I received my results on time. my stay at this Curio Collection hotel was fantastic.
