Brilliant location in the heart of the old town, just meters away from the cathedral and main square. Spectacular views from the room across the gorge and to the nearby Parador. Small but comfortable room with a good bathroom and working shower. Drinks fridge and free safe were handy. Lovely old building with a stylish conversion.

This hotel is a hidden gem! We had a lovely stay here. The staff, especially Rosa, were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to stay in the only Junior Suite on Level 5, which offered a stunning view of the old town. The bathroom was spacious and the room itself had a charming, old-world feel.

We recommend this place to all our friends. It is centrally located in the historic city center and close to all the main attractions.

In the evening, you can stroll to the connected restaurant and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the new part of the city, with a greater variety of restaurants to choose from. The rooms are excellent, with comfy beds and ample wardrobe space. The bathrooms are clean and provide hot water for showers. The staff is friendly and provides good service. Additionally, the hotel offers a delicious breakfast with a choice of cooked dishes.

The directions to the hotel were not very clearly signposted, which made finding it a bit challenging.

Our unexpected early arrival was no problem for the receptionist who kindly upgraded us to a room with a lounge. The room was lovely, with a comfortable and spacious bed. The location was excellent, within walking distance of everything we wanted to see in the historic quarter. I highly recommend staying at this hotel in Cuenca.

This hotel is simply wonderful. The location is superb, right in the heart of the old city. We were just a short walk away from all the major attractions, such as the Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, and the Hanging Houses. The Castle area with its vibrant Spanish restaurants was also within easy reach. The hotel itself offered excellent value for money. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff that were always ready to assist us. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, with all the amenities we needed including heating, air conditioning, and a mini-bar. We also loved the terrace, where we could relax and take in the beautiful views. Lastly, the attached café was a pleasant surprise, with friendly and helpful staff who were always available.

The only minor issue we encountered was that the staff in the hotel's restaurant seemed a bit disorganized during our dining experience. However, any problems were quickly resolved, and it didn't detract from the overall positive experience.

Second time staying at Convento Del Giraldo during the off season. Enjoyed the quiet and comfortable hotel in the old city. The large room had a great view and was tastefully decorated. The breakfast was excellent with a huge selection of hot food and continental fare served in a large restaurant. Free parking was available in a large lot at the end of the town. The staff spoke good English and the attached café was open all the time and had friendly and helpful staff.

Perfect Location: The hotel is located in a prime spot, close to all the attractions of the city. It was great to be able to explore the city easily without having to travel far.

Parking Hassle: Finding parking was a bit of a challenge. The hotel didn't have its own parking facility and we had to park at a nearby parking lot which was quite expensive.

Just returned from a romantic escape and can't stop raving about it! the hotel is situated in the perfect spot for exploring the beautiful old city, with spectacular views from our room. the area was quiet and peaceful, which allowed us to fully relax. We loved the modern decor of the hotel, and the helpful staff made our stay extra enjoyable.

The noise from construction work nearby. This begins early in the morning and can be quite loud and disruptive, making it difficult to enjoy some quiet time in the room.

We had a fantastic stay at Convento Del Giraldo. the hotel's location in the historic part of town was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the old town, cathedral, and main square. the room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offered a great variety of hot and cold food. We also appreciated the convenience of the local bus that passed by frequently, allowing us to explore the modern part of Cuenca without needing to use our car.
