The sea-view from our room was breathtaking, with wildlife right outside our balcony. The hotel amenities and spa were fantastic, and the staff who drove us around were super nice. The food, especially dinner, was great.

I recently stayed at Makanda in Manuel Antonio for a relaxing getaway. The hotel is beautifully situated with fabulous views and lush jungle surroundings. The two pools were stunning, especially the one with the swim-up sushi bar. The staff were delightful, and our room felt very private with a lovely balcony and a wonderful sea view. The room was well equipped with a kitchenette and a large bathroom. The breakfast included was generous and delicious.

Totally recommend this hotel.

Our family of four had an unforgettable stay in this luxurious jungle resort that exceeded expectations. The staff were friendly and always happy to help. Our villa was surrounded by lush greenery providing complete privacy, while the amazing pools had breathtaking ocean views with monkeys that interacted with guests. The location was central and convenient for making local trips. Breakfast was delicious and included in the package. The property also had unique lounge areas and décor. The clear window designs in the bathroom provided stunning views of the jungle.

Despite the stunning location and luxurious amenities, the restaurant menu lacked simpler choices and was expensive.

During my Christmas stay, I was delighted with the beautiful views from my room and the breathtaking location of the hotel. the palm trees surrounding the hotel created a tropical and serene atmosphere. Additionally, having a small kitchen in the room was a great convenience as I could make coffee and warm up food whenever I wanted.

There were a few aspects that could have been improved. the Wi-Fi in the room did not work, which was disappointing considering the class of the hotel.

I loved waking up to stunning ocean views from my pacific jacuzzi room. The wildlife around the resort, including sloths and monkeys, was amazing. The private beach was beautiful, but be sure to bring cash for drinks and snacks. I highly recommend this hotel!

I had the most incredible stay at a beautiful hotel surrounded by lush rainforest. Every morning, I woke up to the sound of howler monkeys and the sight of sloths in the trees. The hotel rooms were equipped with modern technology like fingerprint safes and remote control curtains, although some of the technology had a few glitches. Despite that, the hotel staff was always helpful and friendly, making our stay enjoyable. The food at the restaurant was exceptional, and the breakfast options were fresh and delicious. The hotel's location was perfect, with world-class beaches just a short drive away. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and unforgettable vacation.

As a solo traveler, I absolutely loved the friendly and accommodating staff at Makanda. The breakfast options were fantastic and the hotel itself is amazingly beautiful, surrounded by nature with sloths, macaws, and monkeys right outside your door. The facilities were awesome, and the bed in my room was the most comfortable bed ever!

Spending New Year's Eve at this hotel was an unforgettable experience. the complementary cocktails and appetizers were the cherry on top for this great night. the stunning ocean view and the peaceful environment were the best aspects of this trip. the hotel's location, close to the beach and surrounded by nature, was the perfect spot for relaxation. the private pool and the amazing breakfast made our stay even better.

Although the hotel's staff was friendly and kind, the wet floors and pathways made it challenging to walk around, specifically during uphill walks. the absence of a free shuttle service to town made it difficult, and sometimes hazardous, to leave the hotel area at night.

The property is breathtaking, with a surreal view from the balcony. The location is perfect, with a private beach and close proximity to town. The food is amazing, especially breakfast. The location of the hotel is stunning, with impeccably manicured landscapes and cushioned chairs overlooking the ocean. The restaurant by the pool offers exquisite cuisine, and the staff is the friendliest I have ever encountered. The Ocean Suite 1, although far from everything, was perfect for us as we are in shape. The room was spacious and clean and offered a breathtaking view of the ocean. The facilities, such as the infinity pool and private beach, were luxurious and well-maintained.

The variety of the menu, especially for breakfast, was a bit limited.

I recently stayed at Makanda By The Sea Hotel for a week-long vacation and it was absolutely fantastic. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The lush surroundings of the hotel made me feel like I was in a tropical paradise. The attention to detail in everything from the room decor to the food and drinks was exceptional. I especially loved the delicious smoothies and cocktails at the bar. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to return.
