We stayed at La Posada for a weekend getaway and were amazed by its rich history and architecture. As a former Harvey House situated on the historic Route 66, it truly transports you back in time. The restaurant, Turquoise Room, usually offers fantastic food, and the gift shop is a delightful surprise. Despite being next to the train line, we never heard any noise. The restoration of this property is commendable, preserving a piece of Arizona and railroad history.

I recently stayed at La Posada Hotel for a second time during my cross-country journey. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The delicious dinner and breakfast were definite highlights. The hotel's proximity to the railway track was amazing, and I loved being just a short walk away from the famous "Standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona." The hotel's atmosphere was lovely, and the shop was well stocked. a great experience.

During our romantic escape, we were thrilled by the stunning art and charming ambiance of this historic hotel. the original furnishings and artistic style created a unique and enchanting atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the art gallery showcasing Tina Mion's works and the museum dedicated to the Fred Harvey hotels and the renowned Harvey Girls. Another highlight was dining at the Turquoise Room, where we indulged in delicious homemade meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. the vast public rooms with comfortable chairs, good books, a piano, and a cozy fireplace were perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

I had the most amazing stay at a hotel full of history and charm. The art and decor throughout the property were unbelievable, and I felt like I was surrounded by a museum. The cozy and comfortable rooms were a delight, and I particularly enjoyed the bathtub. The restaurant served fantastic food, although a bit pricey, and the bar had the most amazing cocktails. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, and the location was perfect for exploring the downtown area on foot. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and immersive experience.

I was hoping for mini fridges in the rooms and a pool, but those were the only downsides. Despite that, I still loved my stay and would definitely return in the future.

This was my fourth stay at La Posada and I keep coming back not only for the experience itself but also for the opportunity to explore the incredible attractions in the area, such as the Meteor Crater, Painted Desert, Sunset Crater, Petrified Forest. I highly recommend this hotel for its stunning experience and the chance to immerse oneself in history and art.

Although my stay at La Posada Hotel and Gardens was nearly perfect, I missed out on the unique opportunity to witness the 5.15 am Amtrak stop at the hotel and see the passengers embark and disembark. Unfortunately, the train was delayed and I wasn't able to witness this spectacle.
