Loved the deluxe king room! It had a huge bed, cool porch, and even a hot tub. The food was amazing at the restaurant! The drinks were top-notch too. Everything was clean and cozy, perfect for a weekend away. Also loved that I could grab snacks at the general store on-site. Super convenient!

The inn is nestled on a beautiful hill, providing stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions. Our accommodations were spacious and comfortable, perfect for our young family. We loved the dining experience at the Ransom Tavern, where the food was excellent, and the atmosphere felt welcoming.

We wished for more interaction from the staff during our stay.

The stay in a renovated lodge instead of the historic house was unclear until last minute!!! No included coffee in the room or breakfast options, and the musty smell in common areas was concerning!!! Improve guest communication, please!!!

It was just a fine choice for a city break in Woodstock with best value. The location was great for exploring the area. If you need to open a jammed window, bring a screwdriver—it came in handy for us!

absolutely shocking experience! Not only did I have to stay in a renovated lodge instead of the main house, but coffee wasn't even included in the room! You expect perks, but it felt like an inconvenience! Just woudl ve been nice if someone checked on us. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

Had a lovely stay, but the lack of breakfast options was a bummer. Chur for the cozy rooms, though! Ransom Tavern had excellent food, so all good there.

the stairs were steep (not great for a late night bathroom run) but the room was huge with lots of windows for light. the tavern had unique pizza choices and the cocktails were amazing! loved the easy access from the adirondak unit too.

We had planned to snowshoe during our stay and found the adjacent General Store to be a treasure trove, with cute gifts and good snacks to fuel our adventures! The staff made us feel like family, accommodating us by squeezing us into the restaurant with last-minute reservations and creating a magical experience we won't forget.

It wasn’t inexpensive, but for that level of service and comfort, we felt it was worth it.
