Located on the beach with a beautiful thatched round restaurant. Laid-back atmosphere with monkeys, coatimundis, birds, and bugs. Good waves for surfing. Beach and pool within close proximity. Quick and flawless check-in and checkout process.

I had an incredible time at Hotel Playa Negra, a hidden gem nestled in a tranquil paradise. The breathtaking views and lush surroundings made me feel instantly relaxed. The yoga deck overlooking the beach was the perfect spot for an early morning session, while my husband had a blast surfing. The friendly and helpful staff, especially Michelle at reception, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. And let's not forget the adorable dogs roaming around, adding to the family atmosphere. Despite a few bugs at night, the overall experience was unforgettable. I can't wait to recommend this hotel to others.

The restaurant prices are high compared to other local restaurants. The beds in the bungalows are not the most comfortable and the shower needs more attention when it comes to cleaning.

The restaurant, situated right next to the ocean, offers a beautiful setting with a thatched round building, open sides, and charming fairy lights. Additionally, the hotel provides a laid-back atmosphere, allowing guests to spot monkeys, coatimundis, and fascinating birds and bugs just outside their doorstep.

The cleanliness of Cabin 10 was not up to par, with mold on the walls and an overall lack of maintenance.
