I had a fantastic stay in this secluded lodge in the mountains. The spacious rooms, which are actually independent cabins, provided a peaceful and noise-free environment. The large windows allowed me to enjoy the soothing sound of the nearby river and the incredible sight of hummingbirds right outside my door. The restaurant at the hotel served delicious food, including a delightful hot chocolate. The hotel's location in the midst of nature was perfect, offering a wide range of activities to enjoy. Additionally, the internet was reliable, the showers were hot, and the hotel provided heaters for chilly evenings. I also loved exploring the free botanical garden nearby.

The accommodation was beautiful, with detached cottages and a stunning location next to a river. The interior was attractive and the beds were very comfortable. One key location advantage was being able to spot the Quetzal from the hotel. Another advantage was the free access to a beautiful botanical garden with many hummingbirds.

The freezing floor in the morning was a major inconvenience, especially in the mountains in April. The cold weather made it necessary to bring slippers and pajamas.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. the food served at the restaurant was delicious and there was a good variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. the location of the lodge was perfect, nestled in a valley with a river nearby, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere.

One drawback was that the little electric heater provided in the room was not very effective in keeping the space warm, especially during the chilly nights. Another minor downside was the difficulty of reaching the hotel due to the road conditions, although it added a bit of charm to the overall experience.

this quaint lodge in san gerardo de dota exceeded all my expectations. from the stunning design and attention to detail to the impeccable service and delicious food, everything was perfect. the cozy cabins and comfortable beds made for a truly memorable weekend getaway.

The lodge in San Gerardo was a lovely location near the river. the spacious and comfortable chalets provided a peaceful and noise-free environment. We enjoyed the sound of the river and the sight of hummingbirds just outside our door. the lodge's restaurant served delicious food, including a tasty hot chocolate. the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the gardens were beautiful. We went on a bird tour organized by the lodge and were fortunate enough to see quetzals. the drive to the lodge was good, but a 4x4 vehicle is recommended, and it's wise to allow extra travel time. we had a great experience and would definitely stay at Lauraceas Lodge again.
