I recently stayed at Playa Negra Surf Lodge for a few nights, and it was a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, with Playa Negra Beach just a short stroll away. I also loved the fact that there were great healthy restaurants within walking distance. Keilyn, our hostess who lived right next door, was incredibly accommodating and always available to help. The atmosphere at the lodge was quiet, peaceful, and private, with beautiful gardens and plenty of places to relax. The pool was also well-maintained, and the kitchen in our room was fully equipped and easy to use. it's my favorite place to stay in this area.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my needs, with a short walk to the beach and close proximity to restaurants. the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for things to do in the area. Additionally, the hotel had excellent surf nearby and breathtaking sunsets at the beach.

One aspect I didn't like was the lack of signage, which made it difficult to find the hotel initially. Additionally, my room had a view of the parking lot, so I had to keep the curtains closed for privacy.

The Playa Negra Surf Lodge is simply wonderful! As a satisfied guest, I stayed for a week and enjoyed every moment. The spacious room had comfortable beds and kept cool with the air conditioning and ceiling fan. The lodge's central location was fantastic, within walking distance to the beach and surrounded by a peaceful and private atmosphere. The pool was absolutely gorgeous, and I couldn't resist taking a dip twice a day. The family-owned Jalapeño cafe served delicious food, and the staff, especially Keilyn, were attentive and provided excellent service. The well-maintained gardens and plenty of relaxing spots added to the overall charm of this charming lodge. It is definitely my favorite place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town and just a short walk to the beach. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The hotel facilities were great, with a beautiful pool and well-maintained gardens. The restaurant on-site served delicious food. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped. We also appreciated the secure parking and the fact that the hotel had a large gate that was locked at night.

It was conveniently situated in the heart of town and within walking distance to the beautiful beach. the owners were incredibly friendly and provided great recommendations for things to see and do in the area. the adjoining restaurant served delicious food, which was a bonus. Additionally, the pool on the property was well-maintained and provided a great place to relax and cool off during the hot days.

Although my overall experience was positive, there were a few downsides. some kitchen equipment was missing, such as a kettle and coffee machine.

I must say, the spacious room was a pleasant surprise. It gave me a lot of space to move around and relax. And the location couldn't have been better - just a short walk to the beach. It made it so convenient for me to enjoy the ocean breeze whenever I wanted. Plus, the beds were super comfy, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

I was a bit disappointed with some missing kitchen equipment. Not having a kettle was quite inconvenient, and the lack of coffee provided was a letdown.

The spacious rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. We also enjoyed the delicious food at the adjoining restaurant, Jalapeños Cafe.

We loved the central location and being just a short stroll away from the beach. Keilyn, the hostess, was incredibly attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant onsite served outstanding food. The peaceful and private atmosphere, along with the beautifully maintained gardens, made for a truly delightful stay. The pool was clean and inviting, and Alex, who handled all the maintenance and cleaning, was efficient and considerate. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a spacious refrigerator, made it easy for us to prepare our own meals. The added security of the locked gate at night was appreciated. this is our favorite place to stay in Playa Negra.

We felt incredibly special during our stay and have absolutely no complaints whatsoever.
