The included breakfast was delicious and varied each morning. Additionally, the location was excellent, offering plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities and a convenient on-site restaurant.

The kitchen could have been better equipped, and it would have been nice to have screen doors on the terrace to keep bugs out while still enjoying the view. the place could use a little updating to give it a fresher look, but it didn't detract from our overall positive experience.

We had an incredible stay at a charming B&B nestled in the hills near Arenal. The drive up to the hotel was a bit steep, but the breathtaking views of Arenal Lake and the surrounding hills from our Hidden Villa were worth it. The staff, especially Fabian, were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The onsite restaurant, The Phoenix, served delicious meals, including local Costa Rican dishes as well as kid-friendly options. We also enjoyed the well-cared-for pool and the opportunity to spot various birds and animals in the lush surroundings. our experience at this special place was unforgettable.

The road leading to the hotel was quite challenging, especially after rain, and a 4WD vehicle was definitely necessary. Additionally, the maintenance of the rooms left much to be desired.

The food at the restaurant was delicious and Juan's knowledge about the area and the history of the hotel was impressive.

There were a few minor issues such as the lack of privacy in the massage area and the need for better advertising of the massage service. Some windows and sliding doors were missing screens, preventing us from opening them.
