Excellent food and attentive staff. Close to quiet end of beach for beautiful sunsets. Helpful owners with great restaurant recommendations. Secluded beach only a 5-minute walk away. Abundant wildlife sightings including monkeys and wild horses.

As young holiday goers, we loved the peaceful and remote location of this charming boutique hotel. The spacious and clean rooms were comfortable, with large bathrooms and comfy seating areas. The staff were incredibly helpful and the food, especially dinner, was excellent. The hotel's proximity to two beaches allowed for early morning walks and watching the local fishermen. We enjoyed waking up to the sounds of monkeys and the hotel's beautiful gardens. The breakfasts were the best we had on our trip, with generous servings and a variety of delicious options. The hotel even provided beach towels, chairs, mats, and a cool box for our beach outings. a fantastic stay!

Felt cared for, nothing to complain about.

the small, comfortable hotel had spacious rooms, firm and comfortable beds, and a refreshing pool. the location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and a short walk to the village of Samara. the staff was accommodating and the included breakfast was delicious. We also appreciated the hotel amenities like beach chairs, mats, and towels. we highly recommend Hideaway for a peaceful and enjoyable break.

Our stay at the Hideaway was worth every penny. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and the bathroom was huge. The hotel's location was perfect, tucked away in the trees for a peaceful stay, but just a short walk to a private beach with warm water and wild horses. The staff treated us like VIPs, offering amazing service and always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome.

The breakfast menu could be improved by offering an earlier start time or a later end time for those who need to have an early start or late end to the day.

I loved the secluded location of this hotel, tucked away in the rainforest and only a 3-minute walk to the beautiful Playa Samara beach. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, they even arranged to have our laundry done for us. The hotel offered great facilities, including a pool and comfortable rooms with large beds. The breakfasts were fantastic, with a variety of delicious options to choose from.

We had a last-minute trip to Tamarindo and booked a stay at The Hideaway Hotel in Samara. It was the perfect hideaway for a relaxing getaway with my mom. The hotel had a lovely, intimate feel with beautiful landscaping. The spacious and clean rooms were a delight, especially the ginormous bathroom. The staff, particularly Nancy and Bianca, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent, especially the guacamole and the brownies with homemade coconut ice cream. The short 2-minute walk to the beach was the cherry on top.

My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this little hideaway during our off-season trip to Costa Rica. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and immediately felt at home. The private rooms were spacious, immaculate, and provided the best night's sleep we had in Costa Rica. The breakfast burrito with the house-made hot sauce was a standout. The owner also gave us valuable recommendations for exploring the area. If I ever find myself back in this part of the world, The Hideaway will be my go-to choice.
