The location was excellent for visiting a nearby reserve, allowing us easy access to explore the rainforest. the trails were well marked and provided us with the opportunity to observe a variety of wildlife, from birds to poison dart frogs. the knowledgeable and enthusiastic wildlife guides made our experience even more enjoyable, especially for birdwatchers. Additionally, the food options were satisfactory, with a buffet and choices from the menu.

The rooms were fairly basic, reminiscent of a research or university style, although they did have AC and a safe. However, the noise from the air conditioners in the deluxe rooms affected our sleep quality.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The reception staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The room I stayed in was spacious and had a great shower and comfortable bed. The view from my room was absolutely beautiful, and I even had the pleasure of seeing a monkey from my outdoor seating area. The grounds of the hotel were well maintained and clean. Breakfast was included and there was a great soda nearby for more dining options. The staff, including the tour guides, were friendly, knowledgeable. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location, and staff were all exceptional.

I had an amazing stay at this rainforest lodge. The location was perfect, immersed in the beautiful rainforest with a suspension bridge connecting to the primary forest. I was able to see a wide variety of animals, including monkeys, sloths, frogs, toads. The lodge had a lot of walking trails to choose from, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Everything was well organized, and I highly recommend this place. The night tour was a highlight of my stay.

The friendly and helpful staff, particularly our guide Carolina for the chocolate tour, made our stay enjoyable. The buffet breakfast was great and the setting in the rainforest was beautiful. Plus, it felt good to support an eco/educational conservation project.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Sarapiqui. The setting was absolutely beautiful, with lush grounds and stunning trails. The staff at the reception, kitchen, and as guides were incredibly gracious and helpful. The gift shop was also a lovely addition. Everything I needed was right outside my front door, and I didn't have to go far to spot animals in the surrounding trees. The restaurant had a wide variety of reasonably priced options, and the buffet breakfast featured delicious Costa Rican food. The hotel staff were friendly and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The rain on the rooftops created a cozy atmosphere, and opening the curtains in the morning made me feel immersed in the rainforest.

I had an incredible experience at a lodge connected to a beautiful rainforest reserve by a long suspension bridge. As I crossed the bridge, I was lucky enough to have a close encounter with a troop of howler monkeys, creating a truly memorable moment. The lodge itself was surrounded by lush forest and had an open-air lobby and restaurant, blending perfectly with the natural surroundings. The landscaping was stunning, attracting a variety of birds. I was impressed by the informative signs and areas explaining the place and its scientific research, as well as the wheelchair accessible trail that taught some basic ecology. The staff went above and beyond, upgrading our room without us even asking and providing us with delicious brown bag breakfasts for our early morning birding tour. The food at the restaurant was good Costa Rican cuisine, and I appreciated that the lodge continues to support biological research alongside its tourism activities.

Great staff, excellent tours , delicious food, close to the park, comfortable rooms, and air conditioning.

Felt welcomed into the family, nothing to complain about.

Our stay at Tirimbina Rainforest Lodge was a perfect stopover en route to La Fortuna. The location at the edge of the rainforest was easily accessible by bus and provided a unique experience surrounded by beautiful gardens full of birds. The hotel's focus on preservation and education was exemplary, and the reasonably priced tours, especially the bird tour led by William, were brilliant. The comfortable rooms overlooked the forest, and the restaurant served delicious and reasonably priced food.

The staff were incredibly courteous and made us feel very welcome during our stay.

The breakfast experience could have been improved by ensuring that there was enough food for all guests, as some plates were quickly finished off.
