Our stay at Jorvik House was exceptional. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the city center through the beautiful gardens opposite the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing us with helpful information about the area. The decor of the hotel was lovely, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Our room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the great shower in our room. we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend Jorvik House as a place to stay in York.

my summer holiday in york was made even better by the fantastic stay at jorvik house. the staff were super friendly and gave great recommendations. the room was so comfortable, with a huge bed and a well-equipped tv. the location was perfect, right across from a beautiful park.

The staff are friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. Additionally, the facilities, such as the mini fridge and fresh milk availability, add convenience and value to the stay.

The bathroom in some rooms may be on the smaller side, which could be a bit inconvenient for taller guests.

For the price we paid, we definitely got our money's worth. The room was beautifully decorated and spotless, with a comfortable bed and 24-hour service. The location was perfect, just a short and scenic walk through the museum park to the center. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even compensating for a slight cleanliness issue in our room with complimentary snacks from the mini bar.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast even better would be to provide a flask of fresh milk instead of sachets. It's always a nice touch.

The basement rooms lack view, only facing a narrow fire escape. asked for a room transfer, got one next day on upper floor. Superior room was better, but had double bed instead of requested twin or king. Maintenance issues with fixtures and fittings.

We recently stayed at a hotel during our city break and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. we appreciated the complimentary snacks and drinks provided in our room upon arrival. the hotel's central location made it easy to explore the city. Lastly, we enjoyed the view from our room which provided a picturesque scenery of the neighbouring gardens.

The noise level was quite high, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the room was slightly cramped and lacked adequate temperature control, resulting in some discomfort.

the staff were friendly and attentive, and the in, room breakfast was delicious. the private facilities were a highlight, with a spa and fitness center that made our stay even more enjoyable. the hotel's location also offered great convenience, with easy access to the city center.

The only minor issue was the lack of room cleaning service, which could have been better communicated to guests.
